Dear Alectown, Peak Hill, Baldry and Parkes Community Members,

Over the last few years, we have been surveying biodiversity and studying the project’s potential electricity network connection. Due to initial biodiversity survey results and current network limitations, we cannot see a pathway for the project to be of sufficient size for it to be competitive. As a result, we are not currently progressing the project.

We may resume work on Alectown Wind Farm in future, if there are improvements in the network and the project’s competitiveness while ensuring minimal impact on biodiversity.
